Bill Zito’s search for a right handed defensemen at the trade deadline continues, and with so few theoretically available, locating the right target isn’t going to be easy.

There are a few pending UFA’s that fit the bill like Henri Jokiharju, but if Zito wants to look at options beyond those on expiring contracts, there is an intriguing if unheralded option with the Utah Hockey Club in Michael Kesselring.

His name might not be well known, and he might not even be available, but his profile might be one that fits what the Panthers are looking for.
