Florida Panthers: Lines, Updates, Preview for April 8 Game vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart and Gustav Forsling will all return to the lineup on Tuesday night against Toronto.
FORT LAUDERDALE — The Florida Panthers will have captain Aleksander Barkov back in the lineup when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.
Sam Reinhart and Gustav Forsling will also return after they got the day off on Sunday night as Florida looks to snap a five-game losing streak.
“It’s been a while,“ Reinhart said after snapping a 285-game streak of games played between the regular season and postseason over the past three seasons.
“I think feelings as good as you can at this time of the year is important, and in a week and a half, that is when it really matters. So, the best I can be feeling going into that, the better.”
The Panthers are close to getting Nico Sturm and Dmitry Kulikov back in the fold as well. Sturm is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday against Detroit while Kulikov may return in one of the final two games of Florida’s final four-game homestand.
Sam Bennett is expected to miss the rest of the regular season with an upper-body injury but is expected to return for Game 1 of the playoffs.
