Jonah Gadjovich might not have suited up for the Florida Panthers during their title run, but he was just as busy as anybody.
During Eastern Conference final, Jonah Gadjovich flew back from New York to South Florida to support his wife as they welcomed twins into their family. And he had to juggle life as a new dad with his duties practicing with and supporting his teammates as they battled for the Stanley Cup.
And the Panthers’ eventual Cup championship only made Gadjovich’s first summer of fatherhood that much sweeter.
“It was tough, for sure,” Gadjovich told Pucks and Palms. “Not being there for my wife and kids off the bat was tough. But obviously, my wife understands the responsibility I have and what we were going through here last year. So, we did it, we won, and the past eight weeks I got to be in full dad mode and be there for them. And it was the best time of my life.
“I love being a dad, so I got to do that to the best of my ability and we’re right back at it now looking to get the season going.”
