The Florida Panthers had themselves a big day ahead of the NHL trade deadline.
They acquired Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand in exchange for a conditional 2027 second-round pick. The pick becomes a first-rounder if Marchand plays in 50 percent of Florida’s playoff games and the Panthers advance to the Eastern Conference final.
