As the Florida Panthers turn the page on their Stanley Cup-winning 2024 season, there are a few roster battles that need to be decided before they raise the banner to the rafters of Amerant Bank Arena on Oct. 8 and take on the Boston Bruins.
Questions such as:
Who will fill the roles of Brandon Montour and Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the back end?
What will the fourth line look like with Nick Cousins, Ryan Lomberg, Kevin Stenlund and Steven Lorentz all gone?
Will Spencer Knight take on the back-up goalie job now that Anthony Stolarz has moved on?
