Sam Bennett Late Scratch for Florida Panthers vs. Devils

Sam Bennett was ruled out of the lineup on Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils. Mackie Samoskevich will draw into the lineup.

Sam Bennett will not be in the Florida Panthers lineup on Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils.

Bennett appeared to be a late scratch for Florida after coach Paul Maurice initially told the media that there would be no lineup changes during Tuesday’s morning skate.

UPDATE: Per the Panthers, Bennett will miss tonight’s game due to an upper-body injury.

Mackie Samoskevich will draw in the lineup for Florida.

Bennett did not participate in the team’s optional skate on Tuesday morning and did not participate in warm-ups on Tuesday.

The team will run with the following lines when they look to extend their winning streak to eight games:

Rodrigues — Barkov — Reinhart

Verhaeghe — J. Boqvist — Tkachuk

Luostarinen — Lundell — Samoskevich

Greer — Nosek — Gadjovich

Forsling — Ekblad
