The Florida Panthers watched multiple third-periods vanish in a 4-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night.

It marked Florida’s first loss when leading after the second period, snapping a 16-0-0 stretch to start the season.

Less than two minutes after Sam Reinhart gave them the lead back with his second goal of the game, Morgan Frost tied the game up 5:59 into the third period.

Noah Cates scored his second of two goals by beating Sergei Bobrovsky with a backhand shot on a breakaway with 5:51 to go to put the Flyers on top.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 29 shots in the loss.

Samuel Ersson stopped 20 of 23 shots, including nine of the 10 shots Florida took in the third period, to backstop Philadelphia to the win.
